Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show | Washington DC Chapter of Charms, Inc.

Pictured above is one of the centerpieces for the Washington, DC Chapter of Charms, Inc. Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show which began in 2007. This is a fun-filled, well attended event by which we raise funds to support the following philanthropic efforts: Adopt a Family, Adopt a Son in Africa, Alzheimer's, Breast Cancer and Heart Health Awareness. Funds from this event also provides scholarships for students majoring in Nursing and a financial donation to EDW, a local dance project for children from various ages and backgrounds.

In June, Bowie University is spearheading the First Annual Dr. Cleophus and Mrs. Marion Hatcher 5K Scholarship Walk. Charm Marion Hatcher and Charmer Dr. Cleophus Hatcher were members of the Washington, DC Chapter.of Charms. Charm Hatcher was also a Past National President of Charms Incorporated. Thus, with loving pride, the Washington, DC Chapter will make a contribution from our luncheon proceeds.
